Last Rites by Guy Newsham – Directed by Daniel Presley-Spinks:
“A Priest visits a Prisoner on Death Row.
Before his execution is set to commence, the prisoner searches for a purpose in life and to confess his sins, but not until the Priest goes first.”
There Used to be a Playground by Peter Paylor – Directed by Vickie Williams:
Susan sits down in a Walmart parking lot (her former school yard) to wait for Brian. Twenty-five years ago, they had agreed to meet here. While she is waiting, Anthony walks by and recognizes her as a frequent patron at his restaurant. They chat for a while until Susan asks him to leave so she can be alone hoping that Brian will show up. Brian arrives, they talk, he explains he’s now married, he then leaves. Anthony returns and he continues to talk with Susan and a friendship develops.
Poaching From the Pirates by Adri Boodoosingh – Directed by Joshua Chorolovski:
Stan and Beryl are a seemingly normal older couple with crazy hobby. They steal packages from their neighbours, and they are pretty good at it too. Though with the increase of technology they are struggling to keep up. They eventually get caught by Zinck and Mimi, but instead of being turned in they become victims of black mail. This fun little skit shows that lessons can still be taught and friends can sprout from the strangest of experiences.
